The repair of the sideswiped Vanagon consisted of some minor paint and body work, Herculiner touch up (not sure what they used), 3m epoxy patching on the side panel, and custom side panel strap fabrication.
If you have removed your side panels, keep the bracket straps. These as many other Vanagon parts can only be found in a salvage yard, and may be desirable to a body shop or third party.
