Sound Dampening The Vanagon Tailgate

To help quiet the interior of your T3, sound deadening products can be applied to directly to a Vanagon's body panels, rear lift gate, floor, slider door, and even under the front nose (if accessible). We have previously used Peel & Seal, a commercial roofing product available at most hardware stores. It is not as thick as dedicated sound dampening products like Fat Mat, but it does provide some noise reduction.
